2022 Picciotto Lab paper: Mineur et al. (2022) published in Mol Psy.
This early January, our newest paper entitled “Hippocampal acetylcholine modulates stress-related behaviors independent of specific cholinergic inputs” has been published in Molecular Psychiatry. Using a combination of optogenetic, chemogenetic and pharmacological approaches, this study demonstrates the role of ACh release in the hippocampus in stress-induced behaviors. You can read the paper here.
Congratulations to Yann Mineur, Ian Etherington, Chika Ogbejesi, Richard Crouse, Wenliang Zhou and the rest of the authors!
Ian passed his Doctoral Quals!
Last December, our grad student Ian Etherington passed the qualifying examinations for the Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program (INP) at Yale!
Congratulations!
